Trim New Picture Window and Re-side

A large window was installed by a construction crew, replacing an old bay window. I was to finish the install with trim inside and out and reside the exterior to blend in with the existing vinyl siding. I used plastic trim to maintain the “no maintenance” exterior.

I trimmed the interior with clear pine. To match the other sills in the house I cut the window sill from 5/4″ pine. I made the rest of the trim from ordinary 1″ pine. The final product as primed and painted to match the other windows.
