One Window Becomes Two
Homeowner of this project had an extra window from removing one in an earlier project. She wanted the original window and the spare installed side by side and centered where there once was one. See the images below for the rest of the story.

One small window in a fairly large wall space.

No header over the window to protect it from weight above.

Plenty of space in the wall for added insulation.

New header wedged into the space.

A second window added.

The windows look different because one has the storms removed but they are exactly the same.

Trimmed to match the rest of the house though the trim boards were slightly wider to keep with proportions.

Two where there was once one.

What a difference the second window makes! So much more light and warmth! Cliff did a great job with tremendous attention to detail and excellent suggestions on different products available to complete the project on the inside (my job). I’m thrilled with my new windows and highly recommend Cliff for home improvement projects. Thanks Clifford!
