Several gutter hangers had torn out due to heavy ice in the gutter leaving holes in the roof that had been leaking into the wall below. I found the appropriate sealer to seal rubber roofing and I modified new hangers to attach to the original gutter cross bars.

Even with this repair there was still water dripping off the bottom of the gutter. I added drip cap under the drip edge to ensure any water running down the drip edge had to drip into the gutter. This seemed to do the job. I recommended the gutter be painted black or a dark color so the melted snow off the black rubber roofing might have a better chance to continue flowing in the gutter if it too absorbed solar heat.
