The sun porch on this log cabin was originally built with sliding door panels but the rollers failed so with non sliding the doors were either jammed shut or jammed open with an outcome of the porch forced to be an outside space. With all the doors jammed closed a sunny day made the space unbearably hot. The owner’s chosen solution was to remove the sliders and replace them with walls with sliding windows and a normal entry door. This way the windows could be open when ventilation was needed and the hinged door would be a reliable entrance.
Though the project is not completed yet the walls are in and so I have some photos to show the progress. More to follow.
