Roof Repair

The heavy snow in the winter of 2010-11 caused some leaks where leaks had not been found before. Due to the extra snow depth on roofs and consistently low temperatures, conditions were favorable to heavy ice damming so greater protection was applied using ice and water shield. Original construction relied exclusively on metal step flashing which provided little protection from ice damming. The problem cropped up on three different roofs and all three are show below in the following slideshow.

Cliff really tightened up this problem area nicely. Nice and dry inside now. I highly recommend Cliff.

    1. Thanks Charlie. I’m glad to hear it!

This was a persistent problem, that required knowledge of roof construction. My amateur attempts had consistently failed. Cliff fixed the problem; no more leaks.
